Business Development Manager/Account Executive

Superbase Creative is seeking a Business Development Manager/Account Executive to join its team in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have some previous agency or client service experience as they will be a client liaison, communicating expectations and organizing workflow with the production team. The right candidate must be a polished and confident communicator that is passionate about brand building, quality design, marketing strategy, and visual storytelling. This position can be described as a combination of sales (but not the type of sales that makes us all cringe), account management, and customer service. Ultimately, this is a key leadership role focused on growing revenue by building positive, long-term relationships with potential clients around the world.

Responsibilities

– Develop a strategic Sales Plan to increase client/project volume
– Research new business prospects, qualify opportunities, and identify decision makers
– Identify and connect Superbase with client partners that seek to transform their business into an unignorable brand
– Regularly interact with existing and potential clients, offering thoughtful partnership incentives
– Schedule appointments for in-office meetings and conference calls
– Anticipate and understand client needs, help identify solutions, and continually add value to the client/agency relationship
– Manage multiple client budgets and production deadlines
– Oversee agency sales and marketing initiatives
– Help prepare and participate in new business pitches as appropriate
– Communicate clearly and frequently with the agency to convey overall sales and operational performance
– Oversee the integration and improvement of operational software and processes
– Work closely with clients to ensure payments are properly submitted
– Create and communicate regular status updates and quarterly project reports

Skills/Attributes

– Demonstrate success in growing businesses through relationship-focused sales and marketing efforts
– Experience working in leadership-level variable pay rate positions and the ability to maintain consistent levels of motivation through goal setting
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Minimum of 4 years of experience within the industry
– Must have ability to analyze financial data and make decisions based that data
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Adobe PDF, and email
– Ability to operate and shine in a startup environment
– Strong time management and organization skills
