Philips Television
A TV that is designed to impress.
To debut Philips’ all-new 7000 series televisions, we once again partnered with photographer Roman Cho to capture the look and feel that we wanted to pair with the simple yet sexy tagline Designed To Impress. In a brightly lit Los Angeles loft that complemented the contemporary design of the television, we were able to visually communicate the idea that the brilliant design of these televisions can be appreciated even without ever turning them on. A television doesn’t have to be an eyesore in your living area, it can actually enhance it.
Philips was founded in 1891 by father and son team Frederik and Gerard Philips. It was in a modest, empty factory building in the Netherlands where the company started the production of carbon-filament lamps and other electro-technical products in 1892. This original factory has since been restored and repurposed as a museum for the global company. Employing approximately 105,000 people across more than 60 countries, Philips is one of the largest electronics companies in the world.
The resulting advertisements appeared in various national publications. Visit Philips.com for more.
